An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial, industrial and institutional settings, a solid understanding of electrical systems and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. The individual should have completed a qualified apprenticeship program or equivalent experience and be able to work independently or as a team.
What you will do:
Installs, repairs and maintains electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Installs, terminates, and tests data cable. Troubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems and equipment. Installs MC Cable, EMT, PVC, IMC or GRC conduit, along with electrical devices and panels. Collaborates with Supervisors and Managers. Operates, maintains, and works in close proximity to various equipment, including, but not limited to forklifts, man-lifts, excavations, drills and saws.
Qualifications:
5 years' commercial, industrial or institutional experience. Knowledge of 120/208, 277/480V Single & 3Ph systems. Knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards Understand basic electrical theory and electrical circuitry. Why RSR Electric?
