Are you an experienced Industrial Electrician who knows how to troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix complex electrical equipment? We're looking for a skilled Electrician to join a busy industrial manufacturing operation in the Reading, PA area. This is a hands-on role for an electrician who is comfortable working with industrial electrical systems, motor controls, PLCs, high-voltage equipment, and automated machinery. What You'll Do Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment Work with PLCs, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, motor controls, and distribution equipment Troubleshoot motor control centers, motor starters, control loops, generators, and drive systems Work with VFDs, DC drives, and eddy-current drives Read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams Install conduit, pull wire, and terminate electrical connections Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic equipment using multimeters, ammeters, megohm meters, oscilloscopes, high-potential testers, and other diagnostic equipment Identify electrical problems and determine the appropriate repair or corrective action Work with high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, grounding systems, and related equipment Interpret and, when needed, modify PLC control logic Assist with preventive and scheduled maintenance programs using a CMMS Help keep production equipment operating safely and efficiently Follow all electrical codes, OSHA/safety requirements, GMPs, and company procedures Respond to occasional 24-hour emergency call-outs Work closely with maintenance, operations, and other team members to resolve equipment issues What We're Looking For Journeyman Electrician license issued by a city, borough, municipality, or county 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and equipment Experience with PLCs, motor controls, drives, and control panels Knowledge of high-voltage switchgear, protective relaying, grounding, and electrical safety Ability to read and understand complex electrical schematics and engineering drawings Comfortable using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment Working knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safe work practices Basic computer skills and experience working with CMMS or computerized maintenance systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment Why This Opportunity?
