We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Electrical Instructor to lead our weekend bootcamps and help students build entry-level, job-ready skills. You'll run hands-on training sessions, keep things engaging, and be a go-to resource for student questions along the way. How to

Key Responsibilities Hands-on Instruction:

Lead labs and live streams on practical skills, including conduit bending, wiring and circuitry, panel work, blueprint reading, and basic electrical troubleshooting.

Class Management:

Own the day-to-day running of the bootcamp — pacing labs, managing classroom flow, and serving as students' primary point of contact for technical and program questions.

Student Support:

Be readily available to answer student questions in class, in Discord, and during instructor Q&A sessions, helping students work through concepts and hands-on challenges.

Video Project Review:

Evaluate student-submitted video projects, providing constructive feedback on their technical execution and communication skills.

Engagement & Mentorship:

Facilitate group discussions and skill assessments using elements like team competitions to keep the atmosphere lively and amped up.

Safety & Management:

Maintain a safe learning environment, manage classroom equipment, and ensure all students adhere to OSHA and local safety guidelines.

Requirements Electrical Expertise:

Proven experience as an Electrician (Journeyman level preferred).

Field Experience:

At least 5-8 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial electrical work.

Mentorship Mindset:

Teaching or training experience (e.g., training apprentices on the job) is a major plus. A passion for mentoring and "simplifying" complex systems is essential.

Communication:

Strong ability to explain technical concepts (like circuit theory or code requirements) to absolute beginners, and comfort fielding questions on the fly.

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable using digital tools to review student videos, live stream mini lectures and provide written or recorded feedback.
