An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

- Installing conduit (EMT, rigid, and other industrial raceways)
- Pulling and terminating wire for industrial systems
- Installing and connecting electrical equipment
- Hanging fixtures and installing panels and controls
- Reading and working from electrical blueprints and schematics
- Assisting with startup and system connections
- Maintaining a safe and productive jobsite Requirements
- Industrial or commercial electrical experience required
- Strong experience running conduit and pulling wire
- Experience working with industrial equipment and systems preferred
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics
- Must bring electrical hand tools and cordless drill
- Standard PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, work boots)
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
