Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Electrician 1 employees report to Electrician 3 for work assignments. Duties will include but are not limited to completing daily production as assigned, working in a team setting, running basic power tools, and producing a quality product.
QUALIFICATIONS
An Electrician 1 employee will be able to work the scheduled hours. They will be able to read a tape measure, follow written and verbal directions and be able to work outdoors when required in all types of weather.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follow instruction from Electrician 3 and Electrician Supervisor Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with repairs of equipment and electrical faults. Travel to various public and private sites to assist Electrician 2, Electrician 3, and Electrician Supervisor. Manually bend conduit. Interpret blueprints and schematics. Complete electrical installations and carry out various maintenance duties. Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Collaborate with other departments. High safety considerations. Work irregular hours and overtime when requires. Create a welcoming work environment. Bring a positive attitude each day. Other job duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
The Electrician 1 employee is expected to work with minimal supervision and a customer centered focus. Able to read blueprints and electrical prints. Ability to differentiate between the types of cabling. O-24 months of experience required. Ability to work standard and extended hours. Show up on time for scheduled shifts. Adhere to OSHA safety standards.
TRAVEL, HOURS OF WORK, & SUPERVISION
This position normally requires the individual to be physically present at one or more TBB manufacturing location Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Hours will vary depending on business needs). This position will report to Electrician 3.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Current apprentice license preferred, but not required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1-2
years' electrical experience preferred, but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
(including but not limited to): Regularly able to work a 12-hour shift standing/walking. Regularly able to climb ladders repetitively. Regularly able to bend, crouch, twist, pull. Regularly able to lift/carry 80 lbs. Regularly able to work at a desk for short periods of time. Regularly able to work in all types of weather.
