Job Description

ROSENBAUER STATEMENT

POSITION SUMMARY
The 12v Electrician I will route wires for the fire apparatus equipment as directed by wire diagrams and other technical drawings. They will be required to install 12v accessories such as sensors and lights. The 12v Electrician will also be expected to fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer. Routes 12v electrical wires to equipment and follows a wire diagram. Connect lights, hose reals and other accessories to electrical boxes. Fabricate boxes, mounts, and other equipment required to complete the electrical installation according to the blueprint. Communicate with fabricators to have a complete installation. Fabricates wire harnesses to complete installation as needed. Utilizes basic hand tools, shear, and brake press as needed to complete objectives. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
(KSA'S): Knowledge, Education, and/or
Experience:
High school diploma/GED required. Knowledge of DC electrical equipment required. 6 months or related experience required.
Skills:
Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Math:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Abilities:
Knowledge of basic inspection tools, machining skills or related fields. Able to recognize the importance and adhere to all safety policies to promote a safe working environment.
