Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Journeyman or Foreman Electrician to join our team. This role involves performing electrical work primarily in residential and light commercial settings, with the ability to work independently and lead a helper. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and the National Electrical Code (NEC). You must possess your own vehicle and tools to carry out daily tasks efficiently. The position requires a self-motivated professional capable of managing projects with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial environments. Perform electrical wiring according to project specifications and NEC standards. Work independently on various electrical projects, ensuring timely completion. Lead and supervise helpers or apprentices on job sites, providing guidance and oversight. Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and effectively. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Read blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics to execute projects accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Skills Extensive experience in electrical work within residential and light commercial settings. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable safety standards. Proficiency in electrical wiring, system installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects. Leadership skills to oversee helpers or apprentices effectively. Valid driver's license along with own vehicle and tools necessary for daily operations. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and suppliers. Pay:
$31.00 - $33.00 per hour
