Position Summary At Upchurch Services, the Service In-Plant Industrial Electrician - Food Production is not only a maintenance professional but a trusted partner responsible for protecting the customer's production capability, supporting food safety objectives, and ensuring safe, reliable operation of critical facility assets. Key Responsibilities Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems supporting food production operations. Serve as a dedicated onsite resource within a customer facility, ensuring reliable installation and repair of electrical systems hardware, safety, and regulatory compliance. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on motor controls, power distribution systems, PLC-based controls, instrumentation, and facility electrical infrastructure. Apply diagnostic abilities, electrical safety expertise, and a customer-focused approach to facility support. Represent Upchurch Services through professional communication with the Foreman and customer maintenance, operations, engineering, quality assurance, and safety personnel. Qualifications Technical school, trade school, apprenticeship, or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred. Experience in food processing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or industrial facilities strongly preferred.
