What You'll Be Doing As a Commercial Electrician at Bransford, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, clean, code-compliant electrical systems across commercial projects: Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, and layout plans Install and bend conduit, including EMT, rigid, and PVC Pull wire and cable, make terminations, and install boxes, panels, breakers, devices, and lighting systems Install electrical equipment, controls, fixtures, and associated materials Troubleshoot electrical issues and help identify practical field solutions Ensure work meets NEC, local code requirements, and Bransford quality standards Coordinate with superintendents, builders, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects moving Work from ladders, lifts, and jobsite access equipment as needed Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional jobsite Support apprentices and helpers when needed, especially on layout, safety, and quality expectations You're a Strong Fit If You Bring 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred Proven experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, device installation, lighting, panels, and terminations Ability to read blueprints, electrical drawings, and layout plans accurately Working knowledge of NEC and Tennessee/local electrical code expectations Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through jobsite challenges Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Dependability, good communication, and a team-first mindset Physical ability to perform jobsite work, including lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, and working from lifts or ladders Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic hand tools commonly used in the electrical trade Journeyman license or electrical credentials are a plus, but not required for the right hands-on commercial experience.
