Job Description

Del Conca USA is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our state-of-the-art tile manufacturing facility in Loudon, TN. In this role, you will diagnose, maintain, test, and repair complex electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. By ensuring equipment reliability and performing both emergency and scheduled preventive maintenance, you will play a vital role in keeping our production running smoothly. One position is for our C-Shift ( Wed = Noon
  • 6pm then Thurs, Fri, Sat = 6am
  • 6pm) One position is for our B-Shift (Sunday
  • Tuesday=6pm
  • 6am and Wed=6pm
Midnight Key Responsibilities Electrical Troubleshooting:
Plan, install, and repair complex electrical equipment including control panels, relays, circuit breakers, PLCs , and computer interfaces.
VFD Programming:
Initialize, upgrade, and troubleshoot VFDs (including Omron, Yaskawa, Emerson, ABB, and Siemens ). Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct scheduled PMs on manufacturing machinery and facility systems (lighting, generators, etc.) using electrical and mechanical schematics.
Emergency Diagnostics:
Provide fast, efficient emergency repairs during production runs to minimize downtime.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere strictly to OSHA standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and always wear required PPE (safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, steel-toed boots).
Workplace Standards:
Use hand/power tools and material handling equipment safely while keeping work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required. (An Associate degree in Electrical or Industrial Maintenance, or completion of a craft apprenticeship/military equivalent is a major plus).
Experience:
3+ years of manufacturing maintenance or military technical maintenance experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, diagnostics, and industrial electrical systems.
On-Call Availability:
Highly motivated, able to work independently, and willing to be on-call to support our 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Physical Demands & Work Environment Physical Ability:
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods.
Lifting:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 60 pounds .
Work Environment:
Comfortable working around industrial machinery with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures (particularly near kiln firing processes). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions in accordance with the ADAAA. Must always wear required PPE, including safety glasses, cut resistant gloves, and safety shoes (steel or composite). Work Environment The Electrician works in a manufacturing plant environment with moderate to loud noise levels and exposure to dust, heat, and occasional outdoor conditions. The area may contain moving machinery and uneven surfaces. Appropriate PPE including safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection must be always worn. The role requires constant attention to safety, cleanliness, and coordination with team members to ensure efficient operations.
