In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable electrical operations while adhering to all safety standards and electrical codes. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Work on construction sites performing new installations or renovations of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades for future reference. Skills Proven experience as a residential or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers as well as power tools for efficient work execution. Familiarity with NEC regulations governing high voltage and low voltage wiring practices. Ability to operate testing devices like ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics of electrical circuits. Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving across various maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of schematics and technical diagrams essential for precise installations. Requirements Residential + Commercial Electrical Experience Required Must have 5 years experience. Commercial and Residential Electrical Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial settings. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols. Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. Must have reliable transportation and Drivers License. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Service and Troubleshoot Experience a Plus! Texas State Journeyman License a Plus! Generator Experience a plus!
