Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Residential New Construction Lead Electrician to join our team! In this role, you will lead electrical installations on new residential construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage. You'll coordinate with project managers, oversee apprentices, and ensure all work complies with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical installations on new residential construction sites, ensuring adherence to blueprints, schematics, and NEC standards Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to maintain project timelines and quality standards Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise wiring layouts Utilize hand tools, power tools, low voltage testers, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to complete installations Oversee apprentice electricians, providing mentorship and ensuring safety protocols are followed on-site Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage wiring as required for modern residential projects Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, inspections completed, and compliance records Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in residential new construction projects Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising electrical teams or apprentices Extensive knowledge of NEC codes, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical troubleshooting Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and schematics reading Familiarity with renovation processes and construction site safety protocols Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed schematics for complex wiring layouts Handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are advantageous but not required Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values craftsmanship, safety, and professional growth.
