Full-time Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Industrial Electrician / Pipefitter to join our team for a new industrial building project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in laying conduit, wiring electrical systems, and pipe fitting. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Install, bend, and secure conduit according to project specifications. Pull, terminate, and test wiring for power, lighting, and equipment systems. Perform pipe fitting tasks including measuring, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical schematics. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical and safety codes. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues during installation. Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in industrial electrical work, conduit installation, and pipe fitting. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schematics. Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and pipe-threading equipment. Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred. OSHA safety training a plus.
