Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to lead electrical projects across diverse construction and renovation sites. In this vital role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, ensuring all work complies with national and local electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70 standards. Your expertise will drive safety, efficiency, and quality in every project, empowering teams to deliver exceptional results. Duties Lead and manage electrical teams on construction sites, ensuring all work adheres to building codes, electrical safety procedures, and project specifications Interpret and review electrical blueprints, schematics, and schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting of industrial and commercial electrical systems Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions Install, test, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in industrial or commercial environments Ensure compliance with NFPA 70 standards during all phases of electrical work, including wiring, panel setup, and system upgrades Read and interpret complex electrical blueprints for drafting purposes; review blueprints for accuracy before installation begins Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to guarantee building code compliance and optimal operation Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings; troubleshoot PLCs as needed Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and project updates Skills Extensive experience working as an electrician in industrial and commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems Proven ability to manage teams effectively on construction sites while maintaining high safety standards Deep knowledge of electrical schematics reading, blueprint review for electrical drafting, and blueprint interpretation for installation planning Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment Familiarity with building code compliance requirements related to the NEC (National Electrical Code) and local electrical building codes Experience installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems alongside high voltage infrastructure in renovation or new construction projects Strong understanding of NFPA 70 standards for safe electrical practices; committed to following all electrical safety procedures Ability to interpret technical schematics and schematics used in industrial automation systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Knowledge of construction site protocols including safety procedures, blueprint review processes, and coordination with other trades This role is perfect for a dedicated master electrician eager to lead complex projects while ensuring top-tier safety standards.
