Position Responsibilities:
Read blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations in space (coordinates), quantities, and sizes of materials required Identify all tools required for tasks Identify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risks Perform general electrical construction and maintenance duties Install, terminate, seal, test, etc., new electrical equipment, conduit, wire, raceways, or connections to electrical infrastructure and process equipment motors, etc. Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices Repairing and replacing equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures Follow National Electrical Code (NEC), state, local, and client regulations and specifications Cleanup work areas Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional job duties while not performing primary craft duties (be a Team player)
Required Qualifications:
Must have verifiable experience as a journeyman electrician or 4+ years working as an electrical apprentice TWIC Must have State issued journeyman or master electrician license Must be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform duties Must have knowledge on materials, tools, and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction Must be able to compute basic arithmetic functions, measure, mark, and cut equipment or materials to specifications Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime with little or no notification Must be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional duties while not performing primary craft duties Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations Must follow all company and site rules and regulations Must have required tools Ability to work with others - Team player Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors Commitment to Richard values, safety rules, and regulations
