Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Journeyman Electrician and play a vital role in delivering high-quality electrical systems across diverse projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on commercial, industrial, and renovation sites, utilizing your expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical installations. As a key contributor, you will bring your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to every project phase, from blueprint reading to final testing, helping us build reliable infrastructure that powers communities and businesses. Job Summary CMS Mechanical Services is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team in the DFW area. This role will support commercial construction projects, including schools, municipal buildings, and large-scale facilities. The ideal candidate has strong field experience, works safely and efficiently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality electrical installations. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial construction environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications Run conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), pull wire, and terminate panels and equipment Install lighting systems, switchgear, and controls Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs as needed Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local codes Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on-site Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work area Qualifications Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (required) 4+ years of commercial electrical experience Strong knowledge of NEC and construction safety standards Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams Experience with commercial projects (schools, offices, healthcare, etc.) preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (depending on role) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match Career advancement opportunities within a growing company Work Environment Active construction job sites across the DFW metroplex Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Why Join CMS Mechanical Services?
