Job Summary As an Apprentice Electrician, you will assist licensed Journeyman Electricians with installations, repairs, testing, troubleshooting, and project support. Your role is essential to jobsite efficiency, safety, and quality control. You will learn how to read plans, pull wire, install conduit, mount equipment, and complete tasks that build your technical foundation. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesElectrical Support & Installation Assist in installing, wiring, and maintaining electrical systems on commercial, industrial, and residential jobs Pull wire, install conduit, mount panels, breakers, disconnects, and electrical equipment Support Journeyman Electricians with repairs, troubleshooting, and system testing Learn proper use of meters, hand tools, and power tools Technical Skill Development Learn to read blueprints, schematics, one-lines, and electrical diagrams Gain experience with high-voltage and low-voltage systems Learn the fundamentals of motor controls, automation systems, and panel layouts Participate in training on NEC codes, safety requirements, and jobsite best practices Jobsite Operations Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Load, unload, and account for materials and equipment Assist with layout preparation, measurements, and material staging Follow instructions from lead electricians and project supervisors Report progress and challenges clearly and professionally Safety & Compliance Follow all Power Pro safety standards and OSHA requirements Use PPE correctly at all times Participate in safety meetings and follow jobsite protocols Immediately communicate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, or issues Requirements & QualificationsBasic Qualifications Registered electrical apprentice (or willingness to register immediately) Interest in learning the electrical trade and growing into a Journeyman role Reliable transportation to job sites Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather and construction environments Skills & Attributes Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Positive attitude, punctuality, and team-first mentality Basic experience with tools (preferred but not required) Ability to listen, ask questions, and follow direction Respect for safety, quality, and professional standards Why Join Power Pro Solutions?
