INDUSTRIAL I&E TECHNICIAN

Our company is looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and programming electrical equipment. You will draw schematics to indicate where the wiring and components are installed, then measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems according to specifications. Installation of cable tray systems. Installation of electrical heat trace systems. Other tasks in this role include performing preventative maintenance inspections.

INDUSTRIAL I&E TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Calibrate components of flow, temperature, pressure, and level control instrumentation systems Measure, cut, and install wiring and conduit systems Install and program electrical equipment Follow electrical blueprints and schematics Troubleshoot or replace electrical components as needed Perform preventative maintenance inspections Install cable tray systems Install electrical heat trace systems Be familiar with lockout/tagout procedures Follow safe, state, and national electric codes Maintain a clean and safe workplace Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams Support plant startups, shutdowns, and process improvements Full-time position; overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations may be required

INDUSTRIAL I&E TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of a trade school or training program is a plus State journeyman license preferred, but not required Previous multi-year experience in an industrial environment strongly preferred Experience using hand tools & multimeter Mechanical skills Physical ability Clean driving record Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug test Must follow all company safety policies and procedures Required to wear appropriate PPE and participate in safety training Compensation & Benefits
