Job Description

Part-Time Maintenance Electrician / RV Park Maintenance We are looking for a part-time electrician or experienced electrical maintenance person to help maintain our waterfront RV park. Keep your current job and just pick up some extra hours and get to live on the water and fish! This is a good fit for someone who enjoys steady, hands-on work, likes being around the water, and would enjoy a quieter lifestyle. We are looking for someone who can work a few hours a day, help us stay ahead of electrical maintenance, and take pride in keeping the park safe, clean, and working properly. A discounted RV site or rent arrangement may be available for the right person. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: Inspecting and maintaining RV electrical pedestals Replacing worn or damaged plugs, receptacles, breakers, and related components Checking for loose connections, heat, corrosion, damage, or unsafe conditions Helping troubleshoot site electrical issues Performing routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems Checking amp draw, voltage, and pedestal condition as needed Reporting safety concerns or larger electrical issues to management Coordinating with our outside electrical contractor when work requires additional support Helping with light general maintenance around the park when electrical work is slow What We're Looking For The ideal person is: Experienced with electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs Comfortable working around RV electrical pedestals and outdoor electrical equipment Careful, safety-minded, and dependable Able to work independently and communicate clearly Willing to document work completed and report issues Comfortable working outdoors in a waterfront/RV park environment Looking for part-time, steady work rather than a full-time construction schedule Electrical license (at least an apprentice) required. Strong electrical maintenance experience may be considered depending on qualifications and scope of work. Schedule Part-time A few hours per day, flexible schedule Approximately 10-25 hours per week depending on need Some weekend availability helpful Compensation Hourly pay based on experience Discounted RV site or rent may be available for the right candidate Waterfront work environment Steady part-time maintenance work About the Property We are a waterfront RV park near Galveston. We are improving the property and looking for someone who wants to be part of keeping it safe, reliable, and well-maintained. If you are an electrician or electrical maintenance person who would enjoy working near the water, helping maintain a small waterfront community, and having time to fish after work, we would like to talk.
