In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across industrial and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and the NEC (National Electrical Code). This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex electrical projects, from high-voltage wiring to intricate industrial electrical systems, contributing to safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-quality electrical solutions. Duties Install, inspect, maintain, and repair Residentiall and commercial electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics reading, and electrical wiring diagrams. Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot issues related to high-voltage and low-voltage circuits. Perform electrical diagnostics on complex equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ensuring optimal performance. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to execute precise wiring and system configurations. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance, to protect yourself and others on construction sites or renovation projects. Conduct electrical wiring tasks safely while following local electrical codes and NEC standards. Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment efficiently during installation or repair processes on construction or renovation sites. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Skills Extensive experience as an Commercial/Residential electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Proven commercial electrician experience working on diverse electrical projects in various environments. Deep knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) requirements for safe electrical installations. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately. Experience working with Service work on Residential or Commercial settings. Strong understanding of local electrical codes to ensure all work is compliant with legal standards. Hands-on experience with construction site work, renovation projects, or general handyman tasks involving electrical work. Knowledge of safety procedures related to high-voltage electricity and general electrical safety protocols.
