Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Electrician to join our team in Harlingen, Texas and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and/or residential environments. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and blueprint interpretation. (NO

) Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Able to lead a team and knowledgeable feedback. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Install conduit, panels, lighting, switchgear, and electrical devices. Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes. Perform electrical testing and inspections. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades on job sites. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Complete projects efficiently while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Qualifications Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License. Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience preferred. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics. Experience with commercial, industrial, or residential electrical installations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Preferred Skills Experience with service work, new construction, and remodel projects. Knowledge of low-voltage systems and controls. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Pay:
$31.00 - $35.00 per hour
