SUSPENDED SWING SCAFFOLD TECHNICIAN

Job Description

BETCO Scaffolds is seeking a skilled and experienced Suspended Swing Scaffold Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and dismantling of suspended swing scaffolds on various construction sites.

This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in scaffold assembly and disassembly, with a particular focus on suspended swing scaffolds. They will be adept at ensuring proper anchoring and stabilization, conducting regular inspections and maintenance, and identifying and addressing any defects or issues with scaffolding components.

A thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations is essential, as is the ability to conduct safety briefings and ensure all team members adhere to guidelines. Effective communication and teamwork are critical, as the technician will collaborate closely with other team members and trades to complete projects efficiently.

Additionally, the candidate should possess the physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials, be comfortable working at heights, and be able to perform in various weather conditions. Overall, the Suspended Swing Scaffold Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of our scaffold operations, contributing to the successful completion of our construction projects.

Primary Duties Include

Experienced in Electrical Schematics, VFD controls 120v, 208v, and 480v electrical systems

Repair electrical motors and gearboxes on various types of equipment.
