Job Description

Build upon your career. Become an Amber Team member. We have an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Service Technician / Journeyman Electrician in and around Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area. If you are reliable, conscientious and have 4+ years' experience running a van/truck servicing commercial and/or light industrial customers, Amber would like to speak to you!
Summary:
As a successful candidate, you have well-rounded electrical skills and have 5 or more years' experience as a Commercial Service Electrician making service calls at commercial and/or light-industrial sites.
Responsibilities:
Apply electrical practices to solve, design, development, and modification issues Troubleshoot common electrical systems like services, feeders, and branch circuits Read diagrams or blueprints, prepare sketches for future maintenance as necessary Install control and distribution devices like switches, relays, transformers, RPPs and panels Connect power to equipment such as PDUs, electric appliances, motors, lighting equipment, etc. Test equipment or systems for proper functioning, identify hazards and make required adjustments Ensure the safety our team members and customers Be available to work nights and weekends Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and other trades Will need to climb ladder and stairs. Work independently, with a helper or run a small crew Operate assigned company vehicle safely (direct to site)
Qualifications:
Driver License Good driving record Clear Background Check High school diploma or GED equivalent Active Texas Journeyman's or Master license 4+years' commercial and/or light-industrial service experience as a Journeyman Knowledge of blueprints, specifications, codes, and regulations Good communication skills and problem-solving skills The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues As an employee, you'll enjoy the following benefits: Job security Competitive pay Path to growth Health, dental, vision 401K matching Paid time-off Paid holidays Advanced formal training Company vehicle, gas/credit card
Pay:
$42.00 - $52.00 per hour
