Job Description

Overview We are looking for a dependable Electrician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment used in our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently by performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues, and supporting continuous production. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, PLCs, and mechanical repairs while following all safety and electrical code requirements. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and mechanical equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize equipment downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, relays, and PLC-controlled equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and other diagnostic tools. Install and repair electrical wiring, conduit, panels, and production equipment in compliance with NEC and company safety standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders. Work closely with production and maintenance teams to support efficient plant operations. Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean, organized work area. Qualifications Experience as an industrial electrician, maintenance electrician, or industrial maintenance mechanic. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, controls, and PLC troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Experience using electrical diagnostic and testing equipment. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and industrial safety procedures. Familiarity with NEC standards and industrial electrical codes. Mechanical troubleshooting experience with conveyors, bearings, belts, gearboxes, and production equipment is preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to equipment issues. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour
