How You'll Contribute Work both independently and collaboratively with a team. Communicate ideas and thoughts clearly and concisely to leaders and peers. Troubleshoot electrical issues using test meters for both simple and complex systems. Interpret and understand complex prints, schematics, and operating manuals. Strictly adhere to safety rules, including LOTO and safety rule book guidelines. How You're Qualified Zero or more years of experience in maintenance and/or construction of electrical power generation, transmission, distribution, substation and control equipment, and/or other types of electrical equipment, including experience reading blueprints or relevant experience. Driver's license Class A Texas commercial driver's license or equivalent from another state required for incumbents with heavy equipment operation and transportation responsibilities. How You'll Stand Out Experience as an electrical technician within a power plant. Experience maintaining large electrical motors, breakers, electronic motor protection relays, MCC bucket troubleshooting, motor soft starters, and AC motor drives.
