We are looking for strong commercial/industrial electricians, with solar experience highly preferred .
Position Details Location:
Houston, TX and surrounding areas
Pay:
$30
  • 34/hour, based on experience Overtime Available Long-term project opportunities No per diem Responsibilities Install conduit, raceways, wire, feeders, panels, disconnects, switchgear, and electrical equipment Perform wire pulls, electrical terminations, grounding, and bonding Read and work from electrical prints, one-lines, schematics, and project drawings Install and troubleshoot commercial/industrial electrical systems Follow NEC requirements and project safety standards Perform work independently at a journeyman level Solar Experience Preferred Candidates with commercial or utility-scale solar experience are strongly preferred.
Relevant experience may include:
DC and AC solar electrical systems Combiner boxes and inverters DC and AC terminations Solar module/string wiring Grounding and bonding EMT, rigid/RMC, and PVC conduit Larger feeder conductors Reading solar one-line diagrams Testing, polarity verification, troubleshooting, and commissioning Candidates with solar experience should be able to clearly explain the work they personally performed, including conduit, wire pulls, terminations, inverters, combiner boxes, transformers, switchgear, grounding, and bonding. Requirements 5+ years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience preferred Journeyman-level electrical skills required Texas Journeyman Electrician License preferred Solar experience highly preferred OSHA 10 required Ability to read electrical drawings and one-lines Strong conduit installation, wire pulling, and termination experience Must have reliable transportation Must be dependable and able to work overtime as required
