Job Description
PowerHouse Electrical Services, Inc., a Massachusetts-based commercial and industrial electrical contractor, seeks experienced independent electrical contractors for ongoing projects. You will handle design-build, installation, maintenance, and emergency service work on commercial, industrial, and institutional sites. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing conduit, wiring, panels, and lighting, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring strict adherence to NEC and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs on commercial, industrial, and institutional projects Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to complete design-build assignments Install conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and power distribution systems to code Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently Adhere to NEC, local codes, and company safety policies at all times Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sites Complete work documentation, time reports, and material tracking accurately Participate in ongoing training and certification programs Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in good working order Provide responsive emergency and after-hours service as needed Required Skills Commercial electrical installation Industrial electrical systems Blueprint and schematic reading Conduit bending and wiring Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes Panel and distribution equipment installation Motor controls and lighting systems Use of electrical test instruments Jobsite safety and lockout/tagout
