Job Description

Overview The Electrical Maintenance Technician III supports field electrical maintenance activities, including electrical isolation (LOTO) and maintenance of lighting, air‑conditioning systems, and motors. The role focuses on executing preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure high operational availability. This position typically reports to a supervisor and builds on the responsibilities of Levels I and II. Responsibilities Support electrical maintenance tasks in the field, including lockout/tagout procedures. Perform scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance to minimize production impact. Work with external vendors and subcontractors when needed. Follow Management of Change (MOC) requirements for plant modifications. Apply technical skills efficiently while seeking opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and simplification. Uphold and promote strong SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) standards. Use Observation Safety Techniques (OST) to report safe and unsafe behaviors. Participate in responsible waste management practices. Attend and contribute to daily operations shift meetings. Qualifications 4+ yrs. of Oil and Gas Electrical maintenance experience required. Current Journeyman or Master Electrician's license, TX is required. Relevant discipline certifications or equivalent professional experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly describe field conditions and recommend solutions. Demonstrated teamwork skills, including working effectively without direct authority. Ability to manage tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, and fit for duty and agility.
