In this vital role, you will oversee electrical installations, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes. Your expertise will drive the successful completion of projects while maintaining the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your extensive electrical knowledge and leadership skills in a dynamic environment. Duties Lead and supervise electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on construction sites, ensuring adherence to plans, schematics, and blueprints. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to accurately execute projects. Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes in industrial settings. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards. Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation projects to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with construction teams, contractors, and clients to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution of electrical work. Skills Extensive experience with industrial electrician tasks including automation systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Proven commercial electrician experience with a strong understanding of construction site requirements. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for complex electrical systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Knowledge of low voltage wiring systems as well as high voltage power distribution. Familiarity with NEC standards and safety protocols for electrical installations. Ability to manage renovation projects from planning through completion while maintaining quality standards.
