Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Formen Electrician / Licensed Journeyman to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across various construction and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute electrical layouts Troubleshoot electrical issues on low voltage and high voltage systems ensuring safety and compliance with NEC standards Lead installation of wiring for commercial, industrial, or renovation projects while adhering to safety protocols and building codes Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions efficiently Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or general contractors during construction or renovation projects Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, perform testing with ohmmeters or other diagnostic tools, and document findings thoroughly Experience Valid Journeyman electrician license with proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical work Extensive hands-on experience working on construction sites, renovations, or large-scale projects Strong knowledge of NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics reading Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable Experience with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and schematic diagrams for complex electrical systems Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers as well as power tools for efficient installation Previous handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values craftsmanship, safety, and innovation. $28.17 - $42.90 per hour
