Must be available to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts based on business needs

Up to 25% as required

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Mechanic, you'll perform critical electrical modifications, installations, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on advanced aircraft systems. Your expertise will help ensure the highest levels of performance, safety, and quality on a world-class aerospace program.

Key Responsibilities

Perform on-aircraft and off-aircraft electrical modifications and repairs.

Install, route, fabricate, and modify wire bundles, cable assemblies, and electricalponents.

Completeplex connector terminations, including shielded wiring, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.

Interpret engineering drawings, blues, wiring diagrams, technical orders, retrofit requirements, and process specifications.

Perform electrical assembly, installation, inspection, operational testing, and quality verification activities.

Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and environmental systems and resolve malfunctions.

Conduct flight line and bench testing in accordance with applicable aerospace and government standards.

Modify and install electrical systems and wire harnesses for aircraft development and modernization efforts.

Ensurepliance with safety, LockoutTagout, Hazardous Energy, FOD, and tool control procedures.

Train and mentor less-experienced technicians when needed.

Collaborate with Structures, Avionics, and General Mechanics teams to meet project schedules and performance objectives.

Prioritize work assignments to support demanding production and mission schedules.

Maintain certifications, licenses, and training required for assigned duties.

Required Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Equivalentbination of education and related experience may be considered.

Experience & Skills

Minimum 4 years of experience performing aircraft electrical maintenance, modification, installation, or repair work.

Minimum 4 years of experience ing electrical and electronic theories, principles, and systems knowledge.

Experience fabricating new wire bundles and cable assemblies.

Experience routing and installing wire bundles on aircraft platforms.

Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.

Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting techniques.

Ability to work rotating shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift assignments.

Ability to pass required training assessments and maintain necessary certifications.

This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb and descend ladders and elevated work platforms.

Ability to work in confined spaces and aviation maintenance environments.

Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and participate in team lifts when necessary.

Ability to work around noise, hazardous materials, and industrial equipment while using appropriate PPE.

Successfully pass visual acuity and color perception testing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following experience are highly encouraged to :

Depot-level maintenance or aircraft modification experience.

Commercial or military aircraft wiring installation experience.

Experience operating forklifts, mobile cranes, and powered elevating equipment.

Previous experience supporting large-scale aircraft modernization or special mission programs.

Experience leading teams or mentoring junior technicians.

Pay Details:
