Job Description

Electricians - MS Project Sugar Land, TX 77478 Apply Apply Description Mako Industries is hiring skilled Electricians to support electrical installation and termination work. This role primarily involves working within pilot houses and instrument panel environments, performing precise electrical terminations, testing, and routing to meet strict quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform electrical terminations on control panels, instrumentation, and associated shipboard systems Execute point-to-point wiring and verification to ensure accuracy and functionality Conduct insulation resistance testing using a megger (megohmmeter) Route cables and wiring in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in accordance with project specifications and industry standards Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness, and attention to detail Follow direction from supervisors, foremen, and project leadership Adhere to all safety procedures and shipyard protocols Qualifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods (up to 12 hours per day) Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and navigate shipboard environments Capable of working in confined spaces and elevated areas as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with electrical terminations, preferably in marine or industrial environments Familiarity with point-to-point testing and megger testing Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
PREFERRED
(NOT
REQUIRED
): Prior shipyard or Navy vessel experience Experience working in pilot house or instrumentation-heavy environments
