Available Benefits Help for . Ludlum Measurements, Inc is looking for an Electrician to join our team in Sweetwater, Texas! The Electrician will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in our facilities.
Install and repair electrical wiring, systems and fixtures in facilities
Install conduits and pipe to house electrical wires and cables
Ensure piping complies with electrical codes
Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them
Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the facilities
Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation
Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
Replace conduit and wiring as needed
Replace circuit breakers as needed
Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Ability to read blueprints and building designs
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow directions
Excellent verbal skills, organizational skills and attention to detail
Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring
Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending and climbing ladders or scaffolding
Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Education / Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
In process or completion of a formal apprenticeship
Electricians license preferred
