Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, including renovations and new constructions, ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently. The Journeyperson Electrician will collaborate with other trades on construction sites while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete electrical installations and repairs. Conduct troubleshooting of electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety protocols. Renovate existing electrical systems as required, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations. Work with logic controllers for automation projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites. Provide guidance to apprentices or less experienced electricians when necessary. Skills Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Strong understanding of both low voltage and high voltage systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety practices and regulations. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. A maintenance person mentality with the ability to adapt to various tasks as needed within the scope of electrical work.
