An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support a large-scale power generation project located in Eagle Mountain, Utah. This is a long-term, approximately 2-year project offering competitive pay, per diem, and the opportunity to work alongside a skilled team on a critical energy infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have strong industrial or commercial electrical experience and be committed to quality workmanship, safety, and project success. Responsibilities Install, terminate, and troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and controls. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project drawings. Install conduit, cable trays, conductors, panels, switchgear, and associated electrical equipment. Perform wire terminations and testing on electrical systems and components. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to support project timelines and operational requirements. Coordinate work activities with project management, contractors, and other trades. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all site safety requirements. Qualifications Current Utah Journeyman Electrician (JW) License or the ability to obtain Utah reciprocity. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in industrial, commercial, energy, or power generation environments. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding tasks as needed. Excellent communication, teamwork, and safety awareness. Compensation $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
