Job Description

Shift:
3:30 PM - 12:00 AM _________________________________________ Quality Electrical Systems is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team in the production and installation of Fabricated Electrical Houses (E-Houses) for industrial applications. This role involves electrical installation, equipment wiring, and system testing, all performed to the highest quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in industrial electrical systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. ________________________________________
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical installation and wiring of industrial equipment including switchgear, control panels, transformers, and power distribution units inside modular E-House structures. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate layout and execution. Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and inspection of electrical systems to verify compliance with QES and industry standards. Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to resolve technical issues and implement improvements. Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, NEC standards, and company safety policies during all work activities. Assist with documentation including work orders, wiring logs, and quality inspection records. Use hand tools, power tools, and test instruments (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers) as required for installation and diagnostics. Support mechanical assembly teams as needed during integrated build phases. ________________________________________
Qualifications:
Licensed Electrician:
or technical certification or associate's degree in electrical technology or industrial systems preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial electrical installation, panel wiring, or related fields. Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC) and safe work practices in industrial environments. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with installation practices for low and medium voltage systems, conduit bending, and cable terminations. Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification (preferred but not required). Effective communication skills and a team- oriented mindset. ________________________________________
Preferred Experience:
Background in E-House construction, modular power systems, or industrial prefabrication. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives. Exposure to IEEE, UL, or utility-specific specifications for electrical systems.
