Master Electrician About the Company & Position Polaris Modular is a Salt Lake City-based modular builder focused on manufacturing high-quality, steel-framed residential and light commercial projects. We are seeking a licensed Master Electrician to join our team and play a critical role in delivering safe, code-compliant, and efficient modular electrical systems. What We Offer Competitive compensation Year-round work in a climate-controlled indoor facility Paid holidays and paid time off Health benefits Opportunities for career advancement A positive, safety-oriented team culture Key Responsibilities Lead the planning and execution of all electrical installations within modular units, including panels, meters, and circuit wiring Ensure all electrical systems meet the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable state regulations in Utah and Wyoming Coordinate inspections and manage compliance with all jurisdictional permitting requirements Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and schematics Provide hands-on training, oversight, and mentorship to electrical team members and apprentices Collaborate with the Production Manager and VP of Manufacturing to maintain production efficiency and uphold quality standards Participate in developing and refining standard operating procedures related to electrical systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and ensure safety protocols are strictly followed Qualifications Active Master Electrician license in Utah (required) and Wyoming (preferred) Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. construction methods and the National Electrical Code Proven experience installing residential and light commercial electrical systems Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to train and mentor less experienced electricians Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus High attention to detail and strong commitment to safety Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead as needed Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Occasional travel to job sites may be required
