NIGHTS - Maintenance Technician - Mechanical/Electrical

Our client, a global leader in Commercial Real Estate and Facilities Management is seeking an M&E Technician due to business growth in the Data Center practice. This position is part of a single client 96 MegaWatt Data Center with a staff of 28 and growing. This full time role will work onsite in Aldie, VA, pays $35-$45hr and seeks a candidate to work normal M-F hours 7am-3pm with flexiblity on start/end time - no on call, no travel. This role contains an ample vacation plan and a strong benefit package. The key to this role is utilization of Electrical skills to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs in a Data Center operation.

The incumbent will:

Be responsible for the daily performance of preventative and corrective maintenance work. Perform Low voltage repairs and installations Perform Server rack level electrical repairs & installations Complete Battery testing Perform Rounds and readings Respond to and perform minor operations and maintenance activities at the request of the Control Room Operator.

QUALIFICATIONS ELECTRICAL

- 2+ years experience functioning as an Electrician, or performing electrical work, troubleshooting, fixing and monitoring electrical/facilities equipment

OR MECHANICAL

- 2+ years working in a mechanical/HVAC environment troubleshooting, fixing and monitoring mechanical/facilities equipment Experience with Data Center equipment (Chiller/GEN/UPS/STS etc.) Experience and understanding of "Central Plant" environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools for documentation purposes Preferred but not required Journeyman Electrician License CFC Universal license EPA Certification Any Critical Facilities license

Pay:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
