An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description
We are seeking individuals who have worked in an industrial, production or service environment to fill the position of Mid-to-High Level Mechanic (Mechanic II-III) for our growing team in Fredericksburg, VA.
The selected candidate will:
Work in a team environmentInstall air compressors, air dryers and controllersInstall electrical components such as switches, lights, conduit, disconnects and panelsCut and install aluminum pipe, steel plate and Unistrut channelsInsulate and install duct workCut, bend and pull wireRequired QualificationsThe successful candidates background will include: High school diplomaBasic mechanical skills, mechanical aptitudeWelding, metal cutting and painting skillsReading and understanding of mechanical and electrical drawingsBasic understanding of electrical circuitsForklift experience preferred, but not requiredFamiliarity with rigging and the operation of overhead cranesGood communication skillsBasic computer skillsRegular physical attendance at the worksite.Work hours and environment:7:00am 4:00pm Monday FridayHeated and air conditionedCompany provided toolsCompany provided uniformsSafety shoe allowanceThis is a hourly position, with a range of $24-$30.
