About the Role As a Residential Electrical Specialist, you will serve as a key technical expert responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of home electrical systems. You will play a vital role in enhancing residential infrastructure by performing precise installations, complex troubleshooting, and expert maintenance on power systems and backup generators. Responsibilities Execute high-quality installations of electrical wiring, conduit systems, and hardware to ensure long-term building safety. Perform comprehensive diagnostics on electrical systems to identify faults and implement effective repair solutions. Integrate and commission residential backup power solutions to ensure seamless energy continuity for homeowners. Conduct rigorous testing and inspections of electrical circuits and components to verify compliance with safety codes. Manage the replacement and upgrading of outdated electrical components to improve system performance and reliability. Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service outcomes that prioritize customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential electrical service. Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, system diagnostics, and hardware installation. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards. Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces. Excellent color vision to accurately identify and install color-coded wiring. Preferred Skills Current Generac certification or equivalent standby generator expertise. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure service environments.
