Company seeks positive, career minded individual to fill Electrician's position. The ideal applicant would possess a Master's Electrical License but a highly qualified Journeyman with a willingness to learn will be welcomed. The position requires working in random (residential, commercial, industrial and governmental) interior and exterior working environments year round The position requires to applicant to be in good physical health and be able to lift 80-100 pounds on a daily basis. The company working environment is drug free and tobacco free - no exceptions. The position requires the applicant to install the electrical components for backup power systems ranging from 12kW to 1mW which includes performing service heavy-ups, upgrades, and relocations, the installation of panels and sub-panels along with automatic transfer switches, the installation of UG and AG conduits with associated service and control wiring, the installation of all circuitry for FA, alarm circuitry, and ancillary devices as well as coordinating other trades for the complete installation of the system. After all training and orientation, the position would be - primarily - unsupervised and therefore the applicant must possess an aptitude to working towards a goal of completion and understand basic time management. The position requires travel to jobsites located throughout NoVA, Suburban MD, DC and WV. There are projects located as far as Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg, Annapolis and the Eastern Shore. There are some jobs requiring the (occasional) overnight and/or weekend work for the preplanned power outages. All travel expenses are paid by the company. The applicant MUST be at least 23 years of age, legal to work in the US, able to pass initial and random drug testing and have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Applicants with commercial driver's licenses are highly encouraged to apply. The position's starting pay range of $45+ per hour is dependent on experience, driving record and the applicant's individual, personal assessment.
