In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including residential and commercial environments. Your expertise will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the safe and efficient operation for our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and problem-solving abilities to deliver top-quality electrical solutions. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and system setup. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring installations safely following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within electrical systems and implement effective solutions promptly. Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to guide installation and maintenance activities accurately. Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, including proper grounding, circuit protection, and lockout/tagout protocols. Troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems. Use testing instruments such as ohmmeters for resistance measurement and verify system integrity during inspections. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects to install wiring infrastructure aligned with project specifications. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance and future reference. Assit with project needs, including night/weekend support when required Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial environments with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, local electrical codes, and safety procedures. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers; power tools; testing instruments like ohmmeters; and other electrical diagnostic equipment. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on diagnostics and system repair efficiency. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately for precise installation work. Relevant certifications in electrical work; additional training in high-voltage systems or industrial electrical systems is a plus.
