This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Mid Atlantic Health Care Network, Richmond Medical Center, in the Electrical Section of Engineering Service. The incumbent leads a group of journey level Electricians, Electronic Mechanics and also performs nonsupervisory work of the same type as the employees led. The primary purpose of this position is to install, repair, and maintain the electrical systems throughout the medical center.

Evidence which demonstrates you possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position must be supported by detailed descriptions of such on your resume. Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards . In addition the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities are required: Ability to perform necessary installation, maintenance and repair of complete electrical systems and associated equipment for the entire VA Medical Center.
