We are seeking a strong candidate with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Commercial Electrician. Must have clean driving record. •Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team and drive excellence in electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across various commercial construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse renovation, new construction, and high-voltage electrical systems. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, strong technical expertise, and a passion for delivering top-quality electrical solutions in fast-paced environments. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards while contributing to the success of our projects. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including low voltage and high voltage wiring. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and perform installations. Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrician experience to support automation and control systems. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations. Assist with renovation projects by updating existing electrical systems or installing new wiring according to project specifications. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and handyman professionals on-site to coordinate tasks efficiently. Conduct routine inspections on low voltage and high voltage systems to maintain operational safety and reliability. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including shift reports, incident logs, and inspection checklists. Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial electrician with strong knowledge of electrical codes, schematics, and blueprint reading. Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including PLCs, high voltage wiring, and complex control systems. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment effectively. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of NEC regulations related to commercial electrical installations and renovations. Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings for precise execution of tasks. Experience working on renovation projects or within construction environments is highly desirable.
