Job Description

About the Role As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a critical member of our facilities team, ensuring the reliability and peak performance of our mechanical and electrical systems. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and execute repairs that keep our production lines running efficiently. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules on building mechanical equipment, including bearings, seals, and drive systems. Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical failures, utilizing PLC controls and ladder logic to minimize downtime. Manage the startup of production areas, addressing technical issues promptly to ensure operational readiness. Maintain accurate documentation for all work orders, equipment rebuilds, and spare parts inventory. Oversee external contractors and vendors to ensure project completion meets safety and quality standards. Perform high-level equipment installations, modifications, and structural repairs as required. Adhere strictly to LOTO and confined space safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment. Qualifications Required Skills Vocational or technical school accreditation in industrial maintenance or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment repair. Proficiency in troubleshooting high and low voltage systems, including power distribution. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, circuit logic, and technical schematics. Demonstrated physical capability to perform tasks involving heavy lifting and working at heights. Preferred Skills Active welding certification for structural and equipment repairs. Experience with thermographic scanning for switchgear and electrical panels. Advanced knowledge of PLC programming and complex system integration.
