Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery, equipment, and facility systems. This role includes both mechanical and electrical diagnostics to support safe, reliable operation of CNC and production equipment. Essential Functions /
Responsibilities:
Maintain, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems on CNC machines, mills, lathes, and related equipment. Perform electrical troubleshooting including control circuits, motors, drives, sensors, PLC interfaces, and machine wiring. Install, repair, retrofit, and support upgrades of machine tools and facility equipment. Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to diagnose issues. Troubleshoot and repair components such as motors, pumps, bearings, spindles, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Assist with machine startups, alignments, and system validations after maintenance or installation. Communicate issues, action plans, and timelines clearly with team members and leadership. Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO). Perform and document maintenance activities in accordance with company and ISO procedures. Support continuous improvement efforts related to uptime, reliability, and maintenance practices. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Education and/orExperience:
Vocational or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 1+ years of experience in machine maintenance, machine tool repair, or industrial maintenance. Demonstrated experience with electrical systems troubleshooting in an industrial environment.Working knowledge of:
Electrical systems (AC/DC circuits, motors, drives, sensors) Mechanical systems (bearings, shafts, spindles) Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Physical Demands:
Work performed in a shop environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, moving components, grease, and debris. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable working at heights, including lifts and platforms. Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet). Ability to work around industrial chemicals. Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, footwear, etc.) without restriction. #INDVTMI Pay Range:
