What You'll Do Exemplifies Muckleshoot Casino Resort's values and sets a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism. Check and replace faulty switches, sockets, and other simple elements of electrical systems such as lighting fixtures, tubes, and ballasts. Connect wiring to fixtures and power equipment; splices wires as required. Inspect and test electrical lighting, signal, communication, and other electrical equipment. Isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. Measure, cut, thread, and install electrical conduit. Pull wiring through conduct. Dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armature. Install and maintain various types of motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers. Install and monitor performances of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. Install grounding leads. Interpret blueprints; works from sketches or verbal instructions. Lays out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit. Mount motor, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and completes circuits according to diagram specifications. Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments. Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls. Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive, professional demeanor. Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel. Perform other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Electrical license 01 or 02. A second Electrical License or a License in Related Construction Trade may be considered. Electrical Journeyman License or Licensed Commercial Electrician required. OSHA Certified to work on high voltage required. Valid WA State Driver's license, with clean driving record. 5 (five) years of verifiable electrical experience at the journeyman level with documented work history. 3 (three) years' Electrical experience in commercial building maintenance required with operational knowledge and experience with emergency power generators. How You'll Be Successful Knowledge of advanced electrical systems including planning additions or modifications on secondary circuits. Knowledge of health & safety standards, and safety regulations, as needed. Ability to isolate defects in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment. Ability to install and maintain motors, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers. Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade. Ability to install grounding leads. Ability to read commercial electrical blueprints and apply NEC through the full range of commercial and industrial maintenance and construction work. Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances. Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers. Ability to utilize portable radio or cell phone to stay in constant contact with the Department.
