A leading Mining contractor is expanding its Pinjarra workshop operation and is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician looking for long-term stability, career growth, and a strong team culture. This is a Perth-based workshop role working across Surface HME in a hands-on mining environment - focused on maintenance, rebuilds, fit-outs and machine preparation to support ongoing underground operations. If you're over FIFO swings and looking for a quality workshop role where you can still stay connected to the mining industry, this is the opportunity. Roster:
5:2 Monday-Friday (Day Shift) | 6:00am - 4:00pm (10 hour days)

Permanent Full-Time Ongoing training & career development Modern, well-equipped workshop located in Perth - home every night! Family-style culture where your safety and voice come first The Role You'll be working in a modern workshop environment carrying out servicing, diagnostics, rebuilds and maintenance on a range of surface mobile mining equipment (HME), supporting machine reliability and performance across the fleet Servicing, maintenance and rebuild work on surface HME equipment Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults across mining machinery Installation, repair and replacement of wiring looms, lighting, sensors and electrical components Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance activities Supporting machine shutdowns, component change-outs and full equipment rebuilds Working closely with mechanical and hydraulic teams to complete workshop rebuild projects Maintaining high safety, quality and housekeeping standards within the workshop environment What We're Looking For Australian-recognised Auto Electrical Trade Certificate (Essential) Certificate II Automotive Air-Conditioning (preferred) Mining equipment experience (preferred) Strong understanding of workshop safety systems A team player with strong problem-solving skills Current driver's licence + ability to pass pre-employment checks The opportunity and why apply Join a busy, well-equipped workshop working on servicing, rebuilds and maintenance across a range of surface HME.
