    • Position Responsibilities:
    • + Follow the guidance and direction from lead, and senior SMEs + Remove, replace, adjust and/or install equipment racks, power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies, and closures + Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems + Perform wire routing and wire terminations + Perform soldering + Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems + Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number and three-point location + Obtain and verify detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects + Perform lock out, tag out, try out equipment for safety + Perform detailed tool inventories daily + Demonstrate a safe work ethic + Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures •Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):•+ 1+ years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems + 1+ years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting + Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics •

    • + This is a union-represented position + This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
    New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period. + The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned
