Job Title:
Journeyman Electrician Job Description The Electrician will be working on commercial and industrial electrical projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient completion of all electrical installations and related tasks. Responsibilities Interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints to lay out and execute installations accurately. Install, wire, and terminate electrical systems, including switchgear and low-voltage components. Pull wire and run conduit throughout commercial and industrial facilities as required by project scope. Bend and install conduit using appropriate tools and techniques to meet layout and code requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to wiring, conduit runs, and electrical components as they arise. Ensure all work areas remain safe, organized, and compliant with safety regulations and company procedures. Work independently when needed, managing time and tasks to meet project deadlines. Collaborate with team members and other trades to coordinate work and maintain smooth project progress. Demonstrate reliability by consistently reporting to job sites on time and completing assigned tasks. Mentor apprentices by providing guidance, instruction, and feedback to support their development. Essential Skills Proven experience leading apprentices and journeymen on commercial and industrial electrical projects. Strong proficiency in electrical wiring for commercial and industrial environments. Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and blueprints. Hands-on experience pulling wire and running conduit in a variety of settings. Skilled in conduit bending and installation using appropriate tools and methods. Experience working with low-voltage systems and switchgear installations. Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. Demonstrated reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality. Strong work ethic and willingness to handle physically demanding tasks. Valid journeyman card. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moses Lake, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $62.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
